Oklahoma State’s Ollie Gordon II Arrested on Suspicion of Driving Under the Influence: Reports

Oklahoma State star Ollie Gordon II was arrested Sunday morning outside Oklahoma City on suspicion of driving under the influence, according to multiple reports.

Gordon was pulled over by an Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) trooper early Sunday morning for driving 82 mph in a 40 mph zone and weaving through traffic, according to an affidavit obtained by multiple media outlets.

During the traffic stop, the officer found open bottles of vodka and tequila in Gordon’s car, and Gordon said he had had “one drink,” according to KOCO, the ABC station in Oklahoma City, which obtained the affidavit.

Gordon was then taken to the Cleveland County Jail in Oklahoma, where he provided breath samples that showed a breath alcohol content (BrAC) of .11 and .10. Gordon was arrested on charges of driving under the influence under 21, having an open alcohol container, failure to maintain one lane and speeding, KOCO reported. He was released on bail, the report said.

A spokesperson for the Oklahoma State University athletic department said The Athletics that the university is aware of the incident reports, but had not yet commented as of late Monday evening.

Gordon was a first-team All-American in 2023 and received the Doak Walker Award, given annually to the best running back in college football.
