Farmers Markets 2024, in Burlington, Williston, Jericho, Westford VT

Many people associate the start of the summer season with the opening of their local farmers markets. If so, summer is about to begin in Chittenden County.

Vermont is a state rich in local farms, which produce a range of products from dairy and meat to maple, produce and flowers. Many workshops produce artisan goods including baked goods, beer and wine, jewelry, woodwork and more. Local markets are where these makers can promote and sell their products individually and give them the opportunity to interact with the community and customers.

Chittenden County hosts nine weekly markets in the summer, many of which continue into the fall. Days and times vary across weekdays and weekends, with most starting in the morning and some in the late afternoon.
