Chase Oliver is nominated as the candidate for president of the Libertarian Party

Chase Oliver, a candidate in Georgia’s 2022 Senate elections, won the presidential nomination late Sunday night for the Libertarian Party, the third largest political party.

The nomination came after seven rounds of voting during a long, contentious day, as factions of the party argued over the nomination and party leadership positions. After his victory, Oliver promised to unite the party in his acceptance speech.
