Bridges Teen Program presents the first annual Camden Youth Art Festival

(CAMDEN, NJ) — The Bridges Teen Program proudly presents the first annual Camden Youth Art Festival on Saturday, June 1, 2024 – a celebration of creativity and community. Join them at The Neighborhood Center (278 Kaighns Avenue) in Camden for an unforgettable day of art, music, food and fun! The event lasts from 12:00 noon to 4:00 p.m.

What to expect:

* Art exhibitions: Discover the stunning artwork of Bridges program students, youth artists, and leading local artists and organizations.

* Interactive activities: Engage your creativity with art activities and a community art project.

* Variety of art forms: Explore a wide range of art forms, including fine art, digital art, pottery, sculpture, fashion design and more.

* Community involvement: Connect with local organizations, explore community resources, and enjoy games, food trucks, cooling stations, and refreshments.

Why it matters:

The Camden Youth Art Festival serves as a fundraiser in support of the Bridges Teen Program and provides a safe and stimulating space for teens ages 13 to 18 in the Camden area. Help us nurture creativity and inspire the next generation of artists!

Special features:

*Awards Ceremony: Honor the region’s leading art instructors and makers who have made a significant impact on the community.

* Exhibitions and presentations: Enjoy a variety of exhibitions and presentations from artists of all ages.

*Special guests include: EJM Foundation, Celeste Rodriguez, Stef’s Creation, We Live Here Muralist, Painting Pretty, Marcy Morris, Authentic Vision Photography and more!

Be part of it: They invite artists, vendors, arts organizations and sponsors to join them in making this event a success! Your support includes art supplies, exhibit equipment, tables and chairs, food, drinks and financial support for the Bridges teen program. Volunteers are needed!

Recognition: Donation of any amount (Donation can be paid at the door or in advance.

Supplier costs: Youth Art Vendor: $5; Adult Art Vendor: $20; Arts organization vendor: $25; Community Resource Provider: $20; Non-art vendor: $25. Tables available upon request. Tables are limited and on a first come, first served basis. If you have a table, feel free to bring it with you. Vendors will be set up both indoors and outdoors. Outdoor vendors are welcome to bring a tent. Bathrooms are available for guests. (An additional donation of any amount from sales would be greatly appreciated.)

Hot Rods and Harleys take place in Rahway


(RAHWAY, NJ) — Mayor Raymond Giacobbe, the Rahway City Council and U4 Guys are proud to present Hot Rods and Harleys on Saturday, May 11, 2024. For the 21st year, Hot Rods and Harleys invite residents to enjoy a day filled with classic cars, hot rods, custom bikes, street vendors with live music, food trucks and more. As always, the event is free to the public, but there will be a $20 daily registration fee for car or bike.
