Where to Watch 4th of July Fireworks in Wilmington, NC

Fireworks on the Fourth of July symbolize the spirit of freedom and commemorate the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776.

On Independence Day, you can enjoy spectacular fireworks at three different locations in the Wilmington area.

City of Wilmington

The City of Wilmington will present its 4th of July fireworks display along the Wilmington Riverwalk in downtown, beginning at 9:05 PM and ending at 9:25 PM. The fireworks will be launched from a barge located on the Cape Fear and Northeast Cape Fear rivers, just north of the Battleship North Carolina. Please note: There will be a boating safety zone around the launch site for 30 minutes following the fireworks display.

North Carolina 4th of July Festival in Southport

The North Carolina 4th of July Fireworks Festival in Southport begins at 9 p.m. at Southport Waterfront Park, 146-176 East Bay St., Southport.

Ocean Isle Beach

Fireworks will be set off at 9:15 p.m. on Ocean Isle Beach from the Ocean Isle Beach Pier at 1 W. First St.
