Omaha police investigate fatal crash

OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Police say a pedestrian who was struck at an intersection in north Omaha Saturday morning has died from her injuries.

OPD says six news officers were called to 24th and Decatur just after 3:30 a.m. Investigation revealed a car was traveling north on 24th Street when it struck a crosswalk from east to west. The driver of the car left the scene.

The pedestrian, 19-year-old Danayjha Britt, was taken to Nebraska Medicine, where she died.
