Beach Boys’ Brian Wilson placed under conservatorship | Entertainment

A judge has ruled that Beach Boys’ Brian Wilson should be placed under guardianship. Wilson did not object to the ruling. Wilson’s manager LeeAnn Hard and publicist Jean Sievers were named his conservators and are authorized to administer his medications. Hard and Sievers applied for a conservatorship, saying, “Mr. Wilson is unable to adequately care for his own physical health needs.” The 81-year-old Wilson suffers from a ‘major neurocognitive disorder’. Wilson’s late wife Melinda Ledbetter had provided for his daily needs before her death in January. “Brian will be able to enjoy all his family and friends and continue working on ongoing projects,” the Wilson Family announced via Instagram.
