Devin Haney Announces Temporary Retirement Until Ryan Garcia’s Doping Case Is “Adjudicated”

Following Ryan Garcia’s victory over Devin Haney, in a shocking discovery, the former tested positive for a banned PED called Ostarine. No doubt the discovery has enraged and upset boxing fans and Team Haney. Either way, Haney and Martin would begin negotiations for a fight. However, in yet another surprising statement, ‘The Dream’ announced he was temporarily hanging up his gloves.

I’ll take some time.. spend some of my money.. travel the world and I’ll be back in two years after Ryan’s suspension and we can fight again,” he wrote on X.

On the other hand, Bill Haney, Devin Haney’s father, told ESPN that they would not participate in negotiations for any fight until Ryan Garcia’s doping case was adjudicated. Additionally, Bill demanded that Haney be considered undefeated in the sport since Garcia tested positive for PED.
