The Orioles took on the Philadelphia Phillies in their final series. Baltimore lost the opener of that set 5-3 on Friday, but came back for victories 6-2 and 8-3 in the remaining matches. In Sunday’s win, the O’s scored 10 team hits. Jordan Westburg had two, along with a homer, three RBI and two runs.

New York Yankees Betting Preview

On the Yankees side, they had some problems this weekend with the Boston Red Sox. New York posted a dominant 8-1 victory in Friday’s opener, but lost the weekend games 8-4 and 9-3. Starter Marcus Stroman went 5.0 innings with four earned runs on seven hits and four walks in Sunday’s loss.

New York Yankees vs. Baltimore Orioles Prediction

I’m sticking with the Orioles on this one. Suarez has pitched well in his last three starts. He gave up just three on 13 hits and six walks over a total of 15.1 innings in that trio. Suarez should be able to continue his good starting streak here. As for Cortes, he has given up nine earned runs in his last 16.2 innings, going 0-1 in three starts.

Baltimore’s offense is doing quite well these days. They scored three or more points in eleven straight games. New York has given up 17 runs in the last two games alone, so the O’s will have plenty of opportunities on Tuesday if the Yankees can’t get their pitching in order.
