Heartland Flyer celebrates 25th anniversary

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. –

Bryce Boyer of the Oklahoma Department of Transportation joined News 9 to talk about the upcoming 25th anniversary of the Heartland Flyer.

The celebration will take place on Friday, June 14 from 8:00 am. The train leaves at 8:25 am

You can buy tickets for the anniversary here at a discount.

The discount applies to travel between June 13 and June 18.

On Tuesday, June 18, ODOT’s partners with Amtrak, the City of Oklahoma City and the Oklahoma City Chamber will come together to celebrate the Flyer. OKC Mayor David Holt will be in attendance, along with several lawmakers.
