DURHAM – The Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics New Hampshire will commemorate four decades of partnership in 2024. Members of New Hampshire law enforcement agencies have earned more than $7 million over 40 years. Today, there are more than 150 agencies that participate in torch initiatives annually.

Since May 16, members of law enforcement agencies throughout New Hampshire have been carrying the “Flame of Hope” through the roads, towns and cities of New Hampshire. On Thursday, May 30, the torch relay arrived in Concord for a celebration on the steps of the State House. The torch was carried through the Seacoast region on Friday, May 31, en route to the Summer Games at the University of New Hampshire in Durham, which will be held Friday and Saturday.
